Phoebe’s Pink Flower Garden Diary
Echinacea remains one of the most stunning flowers I’ve ever grown at home
I’ve been going back through my photo archives to look at some of the gardening experiments I’ve done over the years and something stood out to me: I’ve grown a tonne of pink flowers in particular!
I don’t know if it’s just me, but pink flowers seem to be the prettiest. The bonus about all of the flowers I’ve included in the photos below is not just that they’re pretty, but they are all strong and hardy too. They grew super well in Brisbane’s hot spring and summer months which is not easy.
From sculptural echinacea, impressive dahlia and sweet zinnias, check out below for some ideas for homegrown flowers in all different shades of pink!
50 shades of pink: here are some of the African Peach dahlias and Little Flower Girl zinnia variety I grew at home.
More pink flowers: these are pretty Oklahoma Salmon zinnia that were super easy to grow (and below also)
These pink zinnias were super prolific, even in hot summer weather
